Speech on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day
Respected Teachers, Distinguished Guests, Dear Students and All Audience,
Greetings and greetings. On this special day today, World Teacher’s Day greetings and greetings to all the teachers who are contributing immensely to building the future of our society and nation through tireless work.
Teaching is not only a profession but also a great responsibility and moral obligation. Teachers are the guides of our lives, who light up our minds, enlighten us with the light of knowledge. An ideal teacher doesn’t just teach textbook lessons, he lays the foundation for a prosperous and just society by teaching us truth, justice, ideals and human values.
In ancient times, the relationship between guru and disciple was one of great respect and love. With the change of era, even though the education system is modern and technology dependent, the role of the teacher is still unmatched. Today on this day we honor all those teachers who give their time, knowledge and talent to shine a light in the lives of students. It is because of them that our society is able to reach the peak of progress today.
World Teachers’ Day gives us an opportunity to express gratitude to teachers and appreciate their contribution. We all have teachers in our lives who have deeply influenced our lives. Deep respect and love for them on this day.
The contributions of respected teachers are not limited to the classroom. They also play a role in the mental and character formation of students. Teachers don’t just teach us reading material, they also teach us important values like morality, justice, honesty, and social responsibility. In short, they make us real people.
Globally, teachers have been playing a leading role in the development of education systems. The challenges of teachers in the present era are also many.
